Overview

The Center for the Humanities Library currently houses collections of fiction, poetry, and criticism, with a special focus on international and faculty authors. We are also building collections in children's literature and periodicals and in comics.

Borrowing Privileges

We welcome all of the St. Louis community to browse our holdings or take advantage of our facilities, but only students, faculty, and staff of Washington University with valid IDs will be allowed to check out books. New patrons may register by clicking the 'create new account' link to the right. You must register with an @wustl email address. Once you are registered, you may request reservations or additional information about specific library items. To check out an item, all patrons must come to the library in person. Loans on books and periodicals are 14 days. Loans on audio and video are 7 days.

Daily fines for all overdue items are 10 cents/day. Borrowers who have lost the items on loan will be charged the current price of the title plus any incidental fees in procuring a new one.
